Edinburgh Film Studios

The offical homepage is here (171kb). Requires Shockwave Flash (996kb). High quality sound and visuals make it worth the wait.

On May 1st 2001, Mitch and Jo took ownership of Edinburgh Film Studios at Nine Mile Burn, Midlothian.

Their mission: to create a facility that provides film makers and photographers of all abilities with an inspiring workspace.

Refurbishment proceeds, but the studio remains available for hire. Around the 10 x 10m infinity coved sound stage (with full lighting rig) are dressing and green rooms, a kitchen, projector room, audio and film editing suites, as well as production office facilities. Equipment (including broadcast digital video editing facilities), lighting, and costume are all available for hire at reasonable rates. Discounts are available for student and voluntary sector projects.

If you need a space to realise your production that is only 60 minutes' cycle from Edinburgh city centre, EFS could be what you are looking for. Email or call Mitch on 01968 672131 or 07956 307381

Just a little (2.7kb) old plain HTML site that search engines can find (TM), and downloads in a (cough!) flash ;-)
